The sequel to the weekly symposium 'Samvad', held every Friday, will discuss the famous journalist P. Sainath's book 'Everybody Loves a Good Drought'. Anand Swaroop Varma ji has translated this book into Hindi by the name of 'third crop'.
The main speaker in the discussion will be Dr. Janardan, Assistant Professor of the Department of Hindi, University of Allahabad.
This book not only reports the plight of the poorest districts of India but also discusses the reasons for their plight. This book accurately explores the problems of farmers struggling with poor education-health-employment, poverty, debt, drugs and farming.
