It's a secular country

India is known as a great country in the world. There is a lot of history to its greatness in the historical book but what is real condition of it at the present time. It is a democratic country and it provides equal rights to its citizens whether what may be their religion. Therefore it is a secular country.

There is a provision in Article number 15 in which it has mentioned that everyone has equal rights in all area. But even today the lowest caste of the country is isolated from the process of development.

According to the recently survey there is 17% population of lower castes in India and it is talk about their assets and land. They have only 6% land and 2.6% assets in urban area. They share only 5% land in agriculture.

And between 2001 and 2013 Supreme Court had register about 54,257 cases of atrocities or 4174 cases annually. In the modern India what we can say that one part of society is fighting from poverty, how the country will develop.
