To be filled up which can benefit both the states, within the districts of Mahoba, Jhansi, Lalitpur and Hamirpur in Uttar Pradesh and Chhatarpur, Tikamgarh, Panna etc.
In Madhya Pradesh, irrigation facility are going to be available in 10.62 lakh hectare of agricultural area, about 62 lakh people will get beverage . there'll be supply and there are hopes of generating 103 MW of hydropower. aside from this, many other schemes are proposed which are proposed like Lower Orr, Kotha Barrage and Bina Sankul multipurpose project which can further improve the interest of the people.
Ken-Betwa may be a tributary of the Yamuna River, after flowing 427 km north from the Kaimur hills near Jabalpur, the Ken river joins the Yamuna river in Chilla village of Banda district. The Betwa river originates from Raisen district of Madhya Pradesh 576 After flowing the km, it joins the Yamuna in Hamirpur district. In Dodhan village of Chhatarpur, the 2 rivers are going to be connected and made a dam.
