Doctor. Bhimrao Ambedkar

Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar was born on 14th April 1891 in Mhow as the fourteenth child of Subedar Ramji Shakpal and Bhimabai. He was rich in a sage, warrior, hero, scholar, philosopher, scientist, social worker and patient personality. He was a leader of a unique category, who devoted his whole life to the welfare of the whole of India. Incidentally, Bhimrao was very much liked by a Brahmin teacher from Satara village. Like a cloud in the scorching sun of tyranny and slander, he became the shadow of the mother's lap for Bhima. Baba Saheb said - Before creating a classless society, the society has to be made casteless. Economic emancipation of Dalit-hardworking human beings is not possible without socialism.
Maharaja Sayajirao Gaik Wad of Baroda sent Bhimrao Ambedkar for higher education abroad in 1913 by giving him a scholarship as a meritorious student. Babasaheb did an in-depth study of political science, sociology, anthropology, philosophy and economics policy at Columbia University in America.
Dr. Ambedkar was unanimously elected as the Chairman of the Drafting Committee of the Constituent Assembly. On 26 November 1949, the constitution (of 315 articles) composed by Dr. Ambedkar was passed.
Dr. Ambedkar's goal was to establish the human rights of Dalits by removing social inequality. Dr. Ambedkar had cautioned in a deep and serious voice that there will be equality in our political field but there will be inequality in the social and economic field. We have to remove this contradiction.
Democracy was built in the nature of Babasaheb. He used to say that India's democratic values did not come from outside. What is a republic and what is a parliamentary system, this is not a new thing for India.
He made a passionate appeal in the Constituent Assembly that we have to protect the freedom we got after so much struggle till the last drop of our blood. He often used to say that we Indians may be from different backgrounds but we have to put the interest of the country above everything else.
Ambedkar was suffering from diabetes. He died on 6 December 1956 in his house during his sleep in Delhi. In 1990, he was posthumously awarded the Bharat Ratna, India's highest civilian award.
